A Rechargeable Antibacterial Poly(ethylene-co-mathecrylic acid) (PE-co-MAA) Nanofibrous Membrane: Fabrication and Evaluation

Jing Zhu, University of California-Davis

Recently, nanofibrous membranes have attracted more attention for various applications such as sensors, filtration media, biomedical materials and protective clothing.
The extraordinary high surface area to volume ratio and open porous structure make nanofibrous membrane an excellent candidate for antibacterial materials since they possess abundant functional agents on the surface and are easily accessible to bacterial cells.
